I worked for Soma Earth Architect in Toronto, Canada as an architectural designer. We were a small office that focused on natural building with straw, clay and earth. My role helped to complete the first straw bale housing retrofit in the city of Toronto, as well as other residential projects in the surrounding areas.

I was also in charge of running workshops to teach natural building skills, where I planned, managed and marketed the events and built small construction projects over the weekends - including a solar shower, cold cellar, chicken coop, and constantly worked on building our own office using wood frame and straw clay construction.
